A man who raped two teenage girls while they slept has been jailed following a police investigation in North Wales.
Stefan Dobandi, 20, of no fixed abode, was sentenced at Mold Crown Court after admitting three counts of rape and offences relating to indecent images of a child.
The offences took place in Flintshire between May and June last year and involved two teenage victims.
Police said the girls were attacked while asleep in separate incidents, in what has been described as a deeply disturbing case.
Dobandi was sentenced to 12 years in prison, reflecting the seriousness of the offences.
The court heard the crimes had a lasting and devastating impact on the victims.
Detective Constable Guto Hughes said:
“He is a predator who is a danger to women.”
He added:
“There is no doubt these horrific offences will likely impact his victims forever.”
Police praised the bravery of the victims in coming forward and supporting the investigation.
