London streets are in chaos for the second time in a week as large gatherings of wild youths were engaged in shoplifting and vandalism in Clapham.
A large number of school-age chidren, teenagers and young adults, predominantly from the black community, were eventually dispersed by the Metropolitan police after it was reported that business owners, employees and families were forced to barricade themselves in businesses to protect themselves.
The police confirmed two teenage girls have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker, and a dispersal order has been put in place.
